In June and July of 2018 author Ruqayyah K. Muhammad toured the USA, presenting her book Khayalami: My Home for the very first time. The book was launched in Atlanta, Georgia at the Mohammed Schools of Atlanta (Ruqayyah's middle and high school alma mater). She then gave a series of book talks at various locations in Georgia and North Carolina. She also appeared on the online radio program "The Power of Educating Our Own" on AM360. Khayalami was also represented at the 2018 Community Life Forward Conference in Atlanta in the Artists' Gallery, in the Marketplace, and through a book reading by the author at the closing session. Thank you to everyone who supported the USA Book Tour and made the launch of the book a success!
